Civil Litigation Secretary
 

The firm of Trepel Greenfield Sullivan & Draa LLP in San Jose is looking for a civil litigation secretary reporting to three young associate attorneys.  A minimum of two years experience is desirable. Salary is competitive and benefits include paid parking, health care, and a (401)k.

Duties include:  Electronic filings with U.S. Bankruptcy Courts and U.S. District Courts. Drafting, editing, and filing of court documents and pleadings.  Preparation of correspondence to attorneys, clients, court personnel, etc.  Filing of documents with Superior Courts in multiple counties, and with the California Secretary of State.  Processing of unlawful detainer actions; judgment enforcements; writs of attachment and writs of execution.  Interfacing with county sheriffs regarding commercial evictions.
